Default Which Brake Pads?

Im going to be buying new brembo plain rotors for my C5 setup. im also going to be needing a new set of pads, but i do not know which pair would be best for me. The car frequently sees Very Spirited driving, so id like something with a good resistance to heat and something with a very good bite. idc about dust or noise. just performance. thanks

I liked the Hawk HPS pads on my stock set up with Powerslot rotors. I'm going to give them a try on my C5 brakes soon, the pads that came with my kit are just about shot.

well, i personally use wagner thermoquiet pads on everything i drive, drove, and will drive. my mechanics that i usually go to use nothing but those and when i need new ones i can get them warrantied so i don't have to pay for it more than the one time. they're like 60-70 bucks for a set and they perform pretty damn good i might add. as far as rotors go i just use the cheap chinese blanks. i know some of you guys don't like the china crap but truth is, they're just as good as anything else. blanks are better anyways. i heard some things about the powerslots cracking and stuff. if you don't want to get chinese blanks i would say get brembo blanks..either all or nothing i say haha! never used hawk pads but i think they're just overpriced overhyped. everyone uses them on here though and i prefer my wagner pads because they never let me down and like i said, my dad can get them for me cheap and warranty them for me so its buy once and forget about it.

i had run those when i did my first set up. i wasnt all that impressed with them. they heated up fast and had faded bad. its a more serious driven car so i need something much more aggressive

I've run the Hawk Ceramics in both my LT1's for the past 5 years with great success. I have no reason to ever run another brake pad personally.
