Thanks, we can't run it yet as we need to put in the new fuel system. Hopefully next weekend it will be back on the street.

how much clearincing did you have to do to get that to fit under the stock hood? I didnt think that intake would fit with how much taller it it is compared to gmpp carb intake. What do you plan on doing for filter? Im thinkin about an elbow and runnin it down in front of the radiator with a cone filter.

Thanks again, you should get back to your 79. I cannot have our cars just sitting.Every time we do a new build ,I am very anxious to get it going.

We don't have a stock hood,it is a cowl. We are just going to put a small K&N filter on it when we dive it on the street. The car really only gets driven about 250 miles per years at most.

That is a Dart intake that we modified to work with our heads. It is a stock valley cover.

I remember being told converting an LT1 into carb will really wake it up. I might convert in the near future if I get bored of learning how to tune my own engine.

When are you taking it to the dyno?

It most likely will not be on the dyno. We just sort of G-tech the cars. It ran very well before when it was fuel injected. It dropped some weight now also by going carbed.
