The Patriot Golds are pretty popular, and a set of the Comp Hi-Tech rockers would do nicely.

Worked out great for me. Made several 1/4 mile passes and put a couple thousand miles on that setup then sold it to fund my LE2 swap. As far as I know the parts are still working great for the new owners.

Crane 10308-1 this is what i use but good luck finding them as the quantitys are droping sence crane went out of business. its the best bang for the buck and looks prity beefy compared to the behives. the pac 1218 are prity good and imo easyer to install.

Their website.

PAC makes some real nice springs. I'm using the 1518's with my current setup. You don't need the 1218's or to spend that much money for them when the Crane 10308-1's would work excellent and be alot cheaper. If you plan to add a more aggressive cam in the future then it would be wiser to get the PAC's now otherwise you are spending more money than you need to.

Imo spend the money and get a set of comp high tech stainless 1.6's, they will lastforever. aba383 has been running them for 14 seasons with no issues. If you call comp they don't recomend the promags for high rpm anymore! I have herd good things about those scorpion units if your on a budget, but the valvetrain is something I prefer not to skimp on.

PAC 1218 would be a great choice, let me know if I can help. I actually have a set that we made two dyno runs with before we swapped the stock heads out for darts. PAC Springs, Comp retainers, and keepers. I can't sell them as new so the price would be a steal.

the 503 is a mild to small cam you wont have to worry about high rpms. most you would spin it to would be 6400 if that.

Patriot Dual Gold Extremes and Comp Ultra Pro Mag Rockers here.

I feel very confident in my valvetrain.
