Default Jet chip install question

Ok I have a quick question. I just bought a jet stage 2 chip from another member on here. What does the red wire connect to? The plug goes inbetween the ecu correct? but theres a seperate red wire too. Pleae help me out. Thanks

Separate red wire is for power, see if you can find directions online, or if the seller can get you the directions. I had one years ago, yes it goes in between the one wire harness and the PCM.

Ah your in luck, I bothered to throw it in Google, they have the instructions on their page. Directions.
Read the 93-97cars,96-00trucks file to locate your power wire for it.

I know I bought mine back in 2004, same time I bought my BBK shorties. I didn't know any better(on either part), uninstalled in it in 2006, sold it on ebay about a year ago for $25 shipped. People who find ls1tech before they ever modify their vehicles are lucky, I wasted some coin when I first got this car.

Don't feel bad I had a hypertech ptm on my 96 back in 2000. There was no mailorder tuning or hardly any dyno shops around then, other than lpe. I sold it in 03' when I put a procharger on the car! Both were mistakes lol!!!
