I really dont have any intentions for the car, Im just wierd like that.
I mean Ill make it fast one day, but I just didnt see it making sense to swap in an LT1 on the factory k-member with manifolds.
So I got headers and a tubular k-member. lol
I still have to finish my 396 project before I devote real money and time to this one. I just wunna row gears around town lol

I wonder how many people that have posted actually own a ___brand____ k-member...
and those that do, I wonder how many people have any experience at all with any other k-member besides the one they are running.
either way, what are you intentions with the car? I'm not a brand specific person myself, I just look around at what company has the best item to offer for whatever I'm looking to buy. In this case, I run a Spohn K-member

no difference at all really.
i recommended the turbo style BMR one, because it gives even more room. how could having MORE room hurt anything?

I don't think any of the major suspension companies make "junk" per say...you'll probably be happy with whatever you order. I know it makes the front end about 25 lbs lighter. My buddy got UMI 3 point SFC's for his car and he's very happy thus far. They seem to be cheaper than everyone, but just as good of quality.

I just got my UMI k-member today and I like it alot.
This might be off topic but where can I get motor mounts from?
Autozone said 120 each... I looked at the v6 mounts but obviously theyre not the same.
thanks,
ZACH

But thats the problem, I dont have the clamshells or anything. I have two v6 mounts, the passenger side LT1 motor mount (motor side only, not actual mount that goes on k-member) and I have nothing for the drivers side. I found some in for sale section, Ill try to get those.
Thanks for the help.

buy the solid mounts. cheaper, and they work great. i ran them on my car for years and you would never know that they were solid.
