Default AI Rotating Assembly

I'm a big Callies fan I've seen nothing but great stuff from them and I know that the compstar line is some really fair priced and very strong stuff. I would go with that kit from AI, espically seeing its prebalanced by Callies.

It is my daily driver, however I plan to pack a punch, being able to run at least high 11s. However I won't go to the track more than once or twice a year so rpms won't be high very often just if I'm goofing around.

So do I need to go all forged or just forged pistons fine?

Will an eagle rotating assembly be good enough? If its better than stock parts I would guess it would be safe enough.

Do I need I or H beam rods? Does it matter that much?

Where should I buy from? AI has some good ones, all forged components $2000

Lastly would a 383 be a waste for a daily driver? Should I just do a 355 with ai or le heads and be my best bet for a quick DD?
This thread should help you out.

For my 383 I got my all forged rotating assembly from Competition Products and it has a Howards Tracksmart 4340 forged crank, 6" 4340 forged H beam rods with ARP 2000 capscrews, Mahle forged ft pistons and it was $1800. Then I took my parts to a local machine shop and had the block race prepped with billet splayed 4 bolt mains then had the rotating assembly balanced including the SLP lw billet flywheel and my Fluidampr balancer. I'm also going to be using LE3 heads & ported intake, 847 cam, 58mm Holley tb, Pacesetter LT's, SPEC 3+ clutch, 42# injectors, MadZ mailorder tune and 3" true duals.
