It's much easier to just drill the heads for the standard sbc.

All you got to do is re drill the hole holes in the intake....it's nothing, and it cost nothing.

Actually the engine compartment is completely empty right now,hoping to have it back together by next weekend.

are those sbc heads or lt1? if they're lt heads are you using an adapter to use them covers?

They are LT1 heads I welded in bosses for the sbc valvecover bolt locations.

Total Engine Airflow just built me a set of 225 cc Trickflow LT4 heads that they changed over to the SBC bolt pattern.

It was only like 100 bucks to get the heads switched to the other style.

yep...its much cheaper to have the heads drilled and tapped than converting the intake....plus then if you decide to swap intakes...you don't have to pay to convert another one.

I noticed in you sig. That you are using the Vic E intake. That's the same one I just bought. Wanted to know how it worked for your combo. Also did you just port match it or did you port it all the way.

I am planning on running 20lbs of boost through it.

mine is fully ported

and is working quite well so far...the car pulls to 7200 with a hydraulic roller.
