these are not a direct fit, in fact the only thing that lines up are the intake ports. bolt hole locations are different, as are the angles that they are drilled at.
i made a jig to drill the holes at the correct spots and angles.
i machined these washers to address the bolt angle issue.
here is a better pic to show what it fixes.
everything is port matched, and you can look into the top and see the valves. its about the best intake i could come up with and still fit under the stock hood. i am running a carb, with a msd pro-billet conventional distributor, but this would be easy to make efi.
i dont have any real goals with the car, i just like making custom **** for it.

i thought about it cutting the unneeded stuff off, but i am going to boost this intake, so i didn't want to weaken it.

im not really interested in doing them, because i dont have another lt1 sitting around to test fit them on.
the car dynoed at 400/400 rwhp/rwtq before.
after numbers wont tell anything as i put the stock cam back in.... and i am in the middle of this project...
warning, this is a old mock-up pic.
its the one on the right...

Yes that's true but it takes so damn long unless they have jigs built. It's easier when you're dealing with someone who has already done it because they don't have to mock & measure, mock & measure.
