Default LE1 Dyno Results

People are always asking about Loyd Elliot products. Just for info in case you are wondering what to go with, A customer this past weekend had LE1 Heads, Ported LT1 Intake by Loyd, off the shelf cam, M6, Through a 9" made 403 RWHP and I believe in the neighborhood of 389 Tq. Maybe will post up his graph..
Oh, this was a 96 Camaro...

If its a shelf cam, how bout disclosing the model number and or specs for it. Were the numbers corrected? Thats pretty good through the 9".

I'm really interested in the specs on that off the counter cam because those seem like to be some very good numbers. I'm really hoping to get around that

Yes thats corrected, the cam was the CC306...The most impressive thing was that the tq and horsepower curve was almost as flat as a board and never fell off, it peaked at about 6000 then just leveled off up to 6500 never falling, I did not spin the motor past that..

very good results for that cam and a $900 pair of heads.

It woul be nice to see a graph if you have access to one.

I think he took a picture of the graph cause the printer was not working. I will ask him to post, I don't keep customers sheets, but maybe I should...

Keep the run files too. That way, you can view them with the free downloadable dynojet viewer and produce a jpeg.

I have not understood why folks dont get the run files after they dyno for future use. Maybe they just do not know they exist.

This is really encouraging as I'm waiting on my LE3 heads for my all forged 383 with a GM 847 cam, ported LE intake, 42# inj, 58 mm tb and Pacesetter coated LTs.

really impressive stuff...it'd be cool to pull up to the strip with a non-stroked, N/A LT1 motor with ported and polished heads and intake and make a high 11 second pass. The motor would look stock when you popped the hood...haha

cant wait to get my LE2 heads/cam/intake done...I was actually thinking of a forged 355 route too, so this is some very encouraging info.

If you have obd1 they cant dyno tune it unless Ion comes in. Check with Larry@Speedinc to be sure.
