Good choice for headers! and yes get rid of that damn egr, all it does is recirculate exhaust gas into your intake and reduce HP.

sure why not?
I have LT Pacesetters but i went ahead and stuck with the EGR.
Only reason was cause when i sell this car it will go much much much higher in price if its emission friendly!(: Lol

Yes I don't think it's actually been proven to reduce HP at all.
Resale value is higher and if you move it's so much easier to be emission friendly then to replace your headers all together.

A car can't pass smog with LT's... so why bother keeping EGR?

i live in FL so i dont have to past the smog test, i went to a shop today and he said $479.99 for the headers and $300 for the install, then i would have to go to another shop to get a custom Y for $170
IDK if the headers heve the (EGR, AIR) i forgot to ask, sound like a deal?

I'm not sure either - but in theory it seems to make sense. Pumping hot exhaust gases back into your intake... if colder air is better for more power, hot exhaust gases don't help. Again, completely unproven as far as I know, just saying in theory it seems to make sense.

Thank you kind sir for proving my point! haha I meant to add that fact also, that its pumping that hot air in the intake and reducing power, maybe 1 HP or 2 but hey it's HP!
