Lol. You are trying to be secretive yet you have your location, license plate, and a picture of your car showing. If you are trying to get races, posting "Im doing it so i can run alot of nitrous for cheap" on a major message board isn't going to help you.

I'm a little confused you're going to spend a bunch of money to go carbed then buy a nitrous kit? Why not put a plate kit on and be done with it?

because buying a single plane, carb, hei distributor, cutting your cowl, getting a new timing cover, etc. is much cheaper and easier than putting in a plate or fan nozzle on efi

slow nova, thank you. at least someone knows how to be helpful. i am wondering mainly about the performance differences and fitment. also a little about cam selection as compared to a injected setup.

to the rest of you... nosey people on my home board check this sight. and as for the guy who thinks thats really my license plate wow youre dumb lol...

I already have everything to convert it to a carb'd setup. and its not a single plane? its a dual plane bowtie intake lol...

its alot more money for new injectors/throttle body/ignition and all the other stuff to run what im planning. kind of the response i expected from this site though.

Let me guess, it's not a picture of your car and you don't really live in GA? If the "nosey people" on your home board can't ID your car from those 2 pieces of info they are the dumb ones.

well for me, mine was carbed when i bought it, ut it wouldve been regardless just for the simplicity of installations, and ease of tuning, hell, if need be you could slap on a single plane, powerful distibutor, dominator carb, giant heads and cam and spray the **** out of it and have a hell uva time, now that vs. efi...... pcm tuning issues, cost for modding single plane for injectors, fuel rails,tb, ignition to keep up with the desired power ect ect... opti this pcm that yada yada

its all personal preference imo, ima carb guy, but maybe one day in the future ill try fuel injection

Im with the FIside here, Its a lot of hacking, work and BS to put a carb on a 4th gen. If you dont have that many mods then you dont need bigger injectors. If you going to put a hellious shot on it than go with a plate(or direct port for that manner) and go with a wet shot. If you need a bigger Tb then find one around used. If fuel delivery is then a concern sop around and find a lawnmower fuel tank, mount it under the hood with a parts house fuel pump and regulator and make a stand alone fuel system for your spray. I know it sounds cheap and dumb but still will be nicer looking than a hacked up car running a carb.
