lt1 leaking oil after water pump install i changed my water pump on my 95 lt1 i changed the seal where the shaft from the water pump goes. i also changed the seal that the optispark goes on but it is leaking oil somewhere around the water pump because i look with a mirror and there is oil on the bottom of the water pump by the shaft. i made sure i put the sleeve over the water pump shaft also any ideas? car has 155k miles on it

Seems like people tear two or three w/p drive seals before getting it right. Slide a protective sleeve over the end of the w/p drive to keep the seal from snagging the edge on install. Then remove the sleeve. The seal leaks a lot of oil when it is ripped.
