Basically the hard part is you remove your stock crap, takes a bit. Then you're gonna have to jack the car up very high to get enough clearance for the headers, thats where most go wrong and try to hammer them in from the top or start banging the frame. If the car is high enough, they'll slide right in.

I cut about 12 inches out of the Y where it would slip on to the header. I got high flow cats that fit in the place of the pipe. I wil look through my records and see if i can find a part # for the cats. I take them out after inspection. I have 2 years between inspections..

You'll want these http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...92e7db1a3aa38d
Those have air/egr, as far as the y-pipe you can do what the guy above says and get a cat welded in.
You might give young a call (888-592-6661) and see what he can hook up for you, he'll beat match/beat summit prices and is knowledgeable about what you'll need.
yes, pretty much any name brand headers will come with the o2 bungs already welded on. so no worries there.
i would get the emission style headers just in case. then cut the ypipe and just fit in a converter like the one guy did

I slipped one on right behind the pass header andthe other one is in the diagonal section that goes under the drivers floor. I needed to heat wrap my brake lines too. I didnt weld them in cause i take them out. I used clamps:

and to answer your original question it can be done on Jack Stands.. I Did it.. but will NEVER do it again. Taking out the starter on the pass side and taking off the oil filter and steering shaft on the drivers side helped alot. Also use locking bolts and some anti seize. And finally get good gaskets. I used Fel Pros. well this Kit..

By all means though call around, summit is high and not a sponsor of the site.
EDIT, it was more like 10 inches out of the pipes to fit the 13 inch cats.
