Taner, what did you have to do, to get the newer tailights, to work in your car? splice into your existing tailight harness?

After that 8 sec run, how did your datalog look? How did your plugs look after all that? (i learned a lot from you, on how to read a spark plug, just in the 10 min we spoke, lol.) Thanks!

Randy how much to you charge to come down to Texas and pit for another Blue SS? I want in that single digit club.
Load that beast up and hit the road it is only what about a 30 hour drive for you to come up to Milan to get you and Taner lined up side by side. I am sure we can get you into the single digit club as Taner resets his own record. LOL Hell you should be there with just the DA change from your 4900 to our close to 0 or negative.

So get going you got 108 Hours to get here....LOL

tim,

did u hear that, i just cracked an ice cold molson canadian just for you, err i mean me.

daren,

thanks for the offer, but it has to be corona or heineken, if it isn't a molson canadian. but if i had to rough it a MGD would work just fine, you can ask tim what i think of bud, lmmfao!!!! is where u live near roxboro? just asking as i will be down that way for work in a few weeks for a couple days.

outlaw,

i left too high, norm is 6300, i left accidentally at 6600, hence the ridiculous tire spin. it went 9.1 a few weeks ago, 1.31 60's, 1.5 - 2 ft wheelies out to the 60' mark! nice and straight! i would have the ride any other way, it keeps me on my toes, especially since i still have them all. lol! shoot me a pm with ur # and email addy.

adam,

HRE is Bryan, he has taught me more than he has probably forgotten........ does that make any sense at all......
as well, i was missing another 2 mph or so on the big end, bottle pressure dropped off on the plate, i should have tossed in a fresh one, my air fuel got a little fat, not happy with it, but it was decent up through the 1/8th mile, but as soon as i grabbed 4th the a/f started dropping.

Thats good beer right there...wheres mine?

Daren, he would sneak up behind me..grab my beer(bud light), poor it out and hand me a molson.. lol. Not that I mind, I love that beer.

tanner, why not put a 2 step on the car and be done with guessing launch rpms?

I know where you are coming from. I drank a ton of Molson in the Zanzibar when I was a young puppy! These days I have to drink Ultra to keep my race weight down! But, I am sure that I can break my that habit at the next shootout long enough to share a few Goldens.

I live in Shelby. I don't believe that it is too far. Give me a call if you get bored. Right now I am in Vermont and next week Veronica and I will be cruising with Mickey Mouse, so there's no telling where I will be in a couple of weeks. As long as it's not Pakistan I am a happy camper!

Keep it betwean the lines,

Daren

Congrats man, Ive followed you and the car for quite a while. Happy to see you got an 8.

On a side note the end of the video is hilarious. Id probably have the same reaction if I could only manage an 11 haha

Indeed.

Nice work, guys. It is always nice seeing someone who has worked relentlessly towards something achieve their goals. That you've managed so many fast passes is a testament to the guys involved.

Keep it up.
