Default Xfi 276???

A long while back my buddy gave me some money to buy him some parts (cam and bolt ons). I bought him everything, with a used cam included. The cam was supposedly a XFI comp cam. I remember looking up the specs and it was pretty identical to my CC503 (XE 276) cam with a 224/230 duration and a 112 LSA, only it had more lift. Well finally my buddy is ready to install, I was going to order him a mail order tune...only problem is I can't seem to find the exact cam specs anymore. I don't see an XFI cam on Comp's website with a 224/230 duration. I could have sworn that I looked it up before and it was there. Anyone have any insight on this?

I remember you buying him all those parts too but the only comparable to that one is the xfi 280

Correct there is no off-the-shelf XFI 224/230 cam unless it is custom. What does it say on the end of the cam?

As stated Comp Cams does have those lobes in their catalog. So it is quite possible to be a 224/230 XFI camshaft but as noted a custom order.

Probably a custom grind. Should make a really nice cam.

Recently one of the mags used that cam in an engine build up and, yes, it was a custom grind from Comp. They felt the 230/236 was too big.
