yep he did. I would run higher compression though. Use the reverse cooled heads to your advantage.

Low 11s is easily attainable, and you don't need 500whp to get there. See sig.

Not going to happen, and has nothing to do with Ricks car.

AGAIN reread what YOU wrote. You were wrong, get over it.

I doubt you could do it with stock heads even ported paper thin simply because the valve size becomes a restriction. You could go to a larger valve, but still its probably not going to happen. I'm finishing a stock bottom, stock ported head build and I'll be happy to see 375 at the crank and doubt I'll even see that. I don't have a radical cam, but I don't think a cam alone will net you 100hp difference unless its some kinda magic stick.

Ok.. i will start build soon my teachers at school ae saying they can help get me there and as of now i am going to start savig every penny and hope to break about 4000 so lets pray. Basically 383 stroker with stock heads and a cc503(Most likely unless i find better) My goal is 425wrhp. I will be doing dnyo tuning and what not. Build is expected to start sometime after christmas (got to get extra cash) And target stop time is in june (I mean completely tuned and running) My teacher is a big camaro guy and he seems to know alot. I am pretty confident i will hit my goal with his help Wish me lucky guys i will keep forum posted. Thanks again for the comments.

...and the useless example you posted could not be further from what the OP asked for. You might as well have brought up a turbo car.

BTW, could you please show me where all these 500 rwhp through stalled auto, stock headed, GM intake LTX cars that you speak of are hiding? Do they only show up at secret AI BBQs, because I sure haven't seen any?

Haven't been on the scales yet, but whatever a full weight T/A minus swaybar, back seats, and A/C weighs. So he has a few extra pounds, so what? That'd still be mid 11s. A few tweaks and he'd be in the low 11s.

My car is also untuned as well.
