I would almost guarantee that your car has a low 11/125mph in it as is. Watch your ET go down and your mph go up when you start launching at 5000+rpms with some stick.

I am not sure when the tracks open down there, but I would imagine late Feb/early March? I would put a steel flywheel Street Twin in the car with the adjustable master and plan on a few good track visits within the first month that the track opens (while the weather is still cool).

Like I said a 2-step will help alot. The street twin is not exactly like stock but feels damn close in peddle pressure and can be easily slipped even reverse is cake. With that said it grabs hard as hell when you drop the hammer. Also a street twin will rob power on the dyno but will actually help ET.

My car is VERY different being auto and bigger BUT on a 11.8 1/4 the 1/8 mile is 7.5 at 90mph.

That MPH says even as you are driving it there is a lot of ET in a launch, as you get better at rowing the MPH will come up.

Not sure when tracks reopen, but that's what is so great about this area. The weather stays mild until late May. I've got to buy front tires for starters.

That is very much appreciated. He was my best friend and most of the reason why I'm into cars now. Here was his latest project car that he was working on. Had the interior done just before he passed:

Headlight bezel in the below pic was just loose. Fixed now.

Brian, I too saw that in your sig last night and was going to make mention of it via PM. I am sorry for your loss. Aside from my wife, my father is probably my best friend as well. Our hearts and prayers go out to you buddy.

My dad is also the reason Im into cars. I was so little I cant even remember the first time I was at the track. Any plans to finish up his car? Looks like it was coming along nice! I think he would really appreciate an LT1 swap !!
