CC 503 swap
Im lookin to go from the hotcam to the 503 however im trying to make this swap as cheap as possible as i am tight on funds. The motor will already be out as I am having it rebuilt as well. I will be getting rid of the LT4 springs and also the SA rockers for a set of NSA rockers as ive heard they will be better for the new setup. So I guess my question is what are the cheapest springs i can run wit this cam and or is it possible to run an LS6 spring?! Im also looking for some cheap NSA 1.6's. I know there are plenty options out there but like i said im trying to keep this as cheap as possible. Any help help is appreciated. thanx

I used these on my CC503 and have yet to have any issues with them.

Cheapest springs? Well be careful with that stuff or your going to be pulling it apart again soon. Your best bet for good springs at a GOOD price is parts sectional and be patient. Good things don't come by the hour.

As said, I would NOT cheap out on valvetrain.. After all, horsepower is made up top!
I'd look around for a set of comp pro mags. And go for the cran 10308 Kit or the like..
I would bite the bullet though and for sure spend a few extra bucks for more security. Better safe then sorry for up top!
