Thanks everyone for the kind compliments. Special thank you to Larry@Speed Inc., Ion "the madtuner", Lloyd Elliott, and my friend/trans builder, Dave. Im gonna try and go friday If I can get my car tuned by then. I just put in a new LE cam too!

I just did a big nasty Lloyd cam myself just waiting on Ion for the tune. Set the idle at 1,200 rpms just to keep it running.

Damn, @1200? That's a big cam Jeff. Ion set mine @ 1000--pretty mild, not too radical. You'll be able make some test run? I plan to go Sunday the 22nd@GLD if weather permits.

Butch the car should be ready only problem is I sold the rear rims and tires and won't have anything to run on except some 17in drag radials so I doubt any new best for me. Also the car is not tuned yet so I'm hoping to get the Idle down some more after Ion tunes it.

Jeff, have Larry call Ion to come down and dyno tune it and then Sunday, we'll swap wheels/tires for you to make some passes. I run 15x10 Welds w/MT 325/50 drag radials. More than enough tire for my combo, but perfect for yours.

Butch, thanks for the offer but I'm not sure those 325's will fit on my car with out some serious massage. I will try to make it Sunday anyway.

i'm sorry, i guess ###/### isn't the universal designation for hp/trq. in reference to dyno numbers. i'll use crayons next time

We're heading up to GLD tomorrow for test runs. Larry@Speed will be there as well as other LS1 tech members. Hopefully we will all set some new bests. Check back for some pics and videos.

Jeffs car did well today, so he is ready

I'm ready and the 2010 SS is ready for what looks to be a great day for racing.

DA was in the +100-300 today

I heard it snapped the rear end at the track when he tried the nitrous.

Any plans for a 9", Strange 60, etc?

Sorry, for replying so late. It was a great day, Sunday @ GLD. Everyone ran some good times and new bests.My car ran a new best of 11.0 @122 n/a. Tried making a pass on spray, but the stock 10 bolt gave out on the launch. Oh well, better luck next time. Will post vid and some pics soon. Haven't had a chance to even open up the rear diff and see the carnage.

That 12 bolt/drag bar will definitely be needed if I want to keep running like this. Thanks, Larry.
