I'm planning to purchase this kit for my mostly stock setup. Is it better to go through a vendor as opposed to buying directly from Racetronix? There seems to be a bit of markup over the prices on the Racetronix site.

Yes BTC, I would highly recommend buying from a sponsor and not them directly. Judging by madhatter, he isn't having any luck with their customer support. If the price is higher I wouldn't buy directly anyway. I always found different pricing to be funny. I remember 6 years ago I wanted a B&M megashifter for my 83 Z28. Summit wanted $165, I wanted to get it faster though and went down to Pepboys. They wanted $350, I just laughed and left.
I'm shocked people still run out of gas with their cars! I know I get paranoid at the 1/4 mark even though I know there is around 2-3 gallons left.

Does anyone know whether Racetronix currently supplies the offset Walbro pump with their kits, or do they have the center inlet? Have they always used the Walbro pumps with the center inlet? Anyone here ever had an issue with this? I need a new fuel pump, had pretty much settled on this kit, but now I'm not sure what to do. I was going to order the kit yesterday from Thunder Racing, and then stumbled upon the below discussion.

Is this not the Walbro pump that is included with the Racetronix kit? It appears to be designed for our fuel pump buckets, and has an offset fuel inlet.
