Default 93 m29 t56...3.73's or 4.10's

i know the 93 m29 t56 has closer gear ratios than the 94-97 t56. (the m29 has the same 1st-4th gearing ratio as the c5 z06)so since it has the lower gear ratios, should i go 3.73 or 4.10 rear end gear? the car is driven on the street but is a weekend strip car. not my daily driver. The t56 swap is going in my 93 TA that has the 700r4 which im pulling out and selling. i am also swaping in an engine harness and intake out of a 95 trans am to put in the car so i can run the obd1 pcm. anything else i need to know?

I have a 93 with the M29 and I run a 3.73. It will be similar to a 94-02 t56 with a 4.10. You will run higher rpm's in 6th than a 94-02 t56 will with a 4.10, but it's not bad.

I like the gearing, I just haven't drove an m28 to see if there is a significant difference.
Although it is nice having 3.23 instead of 2.73 from the factory

3.73's in mine and way more fun than 4.10's. Friend had the M28 w/ 3.73's as he switched over to a 3 series carrier. Not so much fun. 4.10's would be too much I'd think.

so an m29 with 4.10's is like a 94-02 t56 with 4.56 gears in a way? i am looking for the best 1/4 mile time i can get out of it and still be able to drive on the street. oh and what would be a good clutch setup for my plans? mcleod, spec, monster, etc? i also plan on putting in an ls1 aluminum driveshaft should be a little stronger than the stock driveshaft
