Timing cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, valve springs and seals for a start. I went with procomp lifters and 1.6 roller tip rockers for affordability. And Lunati has an affordable timing set too.

You might as well get a set of GM guides plates and do a NSA rocker set-up!

a 3200 stall is more than enough for a cam that small.

Yes, you're going to need new hardened pushrods of the CORRECT length. So WAIT until the lifters are in and use an adjustable length pushrod checker tool to determine what length you need.

LS7 lifters have a different pushrod cup height so you'll need to measure, but they'll drop right in.

For simplicity's sake, Thunder Racing sells an "LT1 Cam Swap Gasket Set"
http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?ac...vid=4&pcid=157

It is basically everything you'll need for the cap swap.

I ran a PI 2800 Stall with my Hot Cam, definitely a good setup. Pretty well mannered, and you can't beat the package deal of all of the parts. In hind sight, I probably would have gone with an XFI Grind Comp Cam and built my own kit, slightly more streetable with more on the top end, but you definitely can't go wrong with the packaged simplicity of the Hot Cam Kit.
However, the Hot Cam is the best bang for the buck to run on the stock injectors and a tried and true setup. Don't let others tell you it is a crappy setup. It is reliable and solid. You won't be disappointed.

I ran a best of a 12.80 on street tires N/A and a 12.06 @ 117 on a 100 shot. You'll have a lot of fun with it.
