Based on the thumbs up, I'm guessing the original poster is happy that he has 3.23's.

Easy. Jack the back end up with jackstands. Mark the DS and a wheel. Turn wheel one revolution and count how many revolutions the DS spins and that will give you your final ratio.
Exampe: 3.23's= the DS spinning 3.23 times per 1 revolution of the axle/wheel.

LOL, goes back to the original topic posted...

"If this site is correct..."

I guess one answer is "they made a boat load of 1-off cars".

I don't believe that site at all. My car is a red 1994 with cloth interior and had a 3.4L v6 4L60e. It said my car was 1 of 1... yeah right. One of the most common colors interior and exterior with a common engine and trans. Don't believe it one bit.

On the bright side, the site appears to be good for pulling the list of options. I seriously doubt that my car is only 1 of 5, but I did order it as opposed to buying it off the lot. Still, it's not like there were thousands of options to select from. My car is a hardtop six-speed. I suppose those could be somewhat rare, but I have trouble believing there were only five produced that year with the options I selected.
I wonder what percentage of 94's were hardtops.

I still kind of regret not selecting the 1LE options group, but summers down south with no air conditioning would have probably sucked. Now, considering where I live and that I haven't driven my car in 9 years, it would probably be somewhat neat.

If you parked your car next to one of the hundreds or thousands of similar cars in our database you probably couldn't tell them apart, but that doesn't mean they aren't different.

For example, some may have an RPO listing for the plant in which they were built. If yours was one of only a few that came out of that plant with a given list of options, it would come back as rare. Another car may have all the same options but was built at a different facility and thusly it's considered different.

To check any combination of RPO codes to find how rare your vehicle is based on the most important codes, click here or make changes to the selection above.

I know mine is legitimately rare for the color mostly. Teal was the most uncommon color offered for the 1996 SS. I have only ever seen one other Teal SS since I've had mine as well as what I stated earlier about SLP stating there were only 3 other SS's that had the same options/color as mine.
What does that say about its value? Not a diddly squat blessed thing.

I still believe the rarity statistics are not reliable. When I ordered my car, I don't recall being able to select every option individually. I believe they were grouped, and I don't recall there being that many choices. It also seems the manufacturing logistics required to produce so many "unique" automobiles would have been a nightmare.

The plant location has no bearing, since ALL 4th gens were built in the same plant in St. Therese, Canada.

There is just no way that so many random people could have 1 of 1 cars. Ain't gonna happen. Heck, go to a dealer lot and look at new cars. Dealers tend to order a bunch of cars for their stock with exactly the same options in variations of color.

I hope you guys don't believe how rare they claim your cars are. There's a thread in the lounge where pretty much everyone got the same BS 1 out of 1 results. I'm sorry but the run of the mill red Z28's and black T/A's are not at all rare. If it's not an SS, Hawk, WS6, 1LE, B4C chances are it's pretty common unless it's an unusual color combo. Some cars are optioned very weird kinda like mine which makes mine extremely rare but doesn't make it worth any more, actually less since mine was a stripper from the factory and most want power options.

Those are the codes for the suspension springs. They come in matched sets (selected by computer).
