Default fed up with cooling problems

ok guys so this car on and off keeps overheating, it was like 70 degrees out today in az and the car starts getting really hot. I changed the radiator a few yrs ago and had it checked about 7 months ago and had hoses and thermostat changed. So my question is what are the best things to buy to get this car to stay cool all the time. It gets crazy hot here in az so I wanna make sure i have the best stuff to keep it cool. Also if you have websites with good prices please post or pm them to me. thanks

I would say to make sure the cooling system is free of any air pockets. Also you could get a tune for the fans to turn on earlier and a cooler thermostat.

Explain this one to me. My car has seen nothing but Dexcool, not to mention that's what they came with from the factory.

fthe dexcool has always caused me problems, i flushed it out and put regular antifreeze in and it ran way better. Last time it was at the shop the damn mechanic put dexcool back in. When i flushed it last time i pulled the bolts from the bottom of the motor and it was just caked with this gross ****. i hate dexcool. Im gonna order a manual fan switch this weekend and then flush it out again and change the thermostat. where do i get the water wetter.

Explain how it ran "way better." I'm curious. If the green stuff has such a performance gain, then why isn't everyone using it?

So it overheated with Dexcool, and is currently overheating with the green stuff now...

Gotcha.

no it overheated with dexcool when i first bought the car, then i flushed it out and put the green stuff in then i had some leaks and the mechanic flushed it out and put dexcool back in and its overheating again now that dexcool is in again. When i put the green in it was running fine.

So basically you have no proof at all that Dexcool is to blame? You're just jumping on the "Dexcool sucks" bandwagon, and attributing that to your problems? Maybe you just need to learn to bleed the cooling system.

i dont think im jumping on any band wagon at all, if the car has had dexcool in it twice and both times its had a heating problem even when a shop has done the work but when i put in the green antifreeze and i have no problems then i think i have reason to believe the dexcool is the problem

So you're saying the shops put the dexcool in and you put the green anti-freeze in?

Water and water wetter for me, never overheats in the FL sun during traffic with the air on.
