Default Corvette vs Fbody oil pan
So what are the physical differences between a Corvette LT1/LT4 oil pan vs. the Fbody LT1 oil pan? Can a corvette pan clear the k member on a Fbody?

I dont think you would have any problems using a corvette oil pan...

RESURRECTION in progress....

It wouldn't have changed my mind knowing this before. My LT1 pan was compromised. Vette oil pan will work and fit the fbody k member fine. BUT if using stock exhaust like I am, the y pipe needs to be extended 1.5 to 2 inches.

Any benefit to vette pan? Or was it an issue of availability of f-body pans?

It was a complete engine swap. I read it would clear the k member, didn't hear anything about the stock exhaust. I assumed.
