CompCams NEW 918's or PAC 1518's?

FYI you will be safe with the PAC 1218's. It's not that particular spring, it's a bad batch of Comp 918's that were made in Mexico that were the ones breaking. The PAC stuff is USA made and you never hear of failures. So rest assured the 1218's would be the way to go. If you want to spend the extra cash and get the 1518's that's fine but you really don't need to.

Hmm, sounds like good advice, however I've been running the 918's on a fairly strong motor with about a dozen passes at the track, no problems yet. But then , i'm missing 50 HP , don't think the springs have anything to do with that though.

Do they have spring kits for these springs? I have no idea what retainers and stuff to get if i just get springs.
