You will be fine I would put on .026" impala head gaskets.

and yes youll be fine with running impala gaskets. im running a slightly thinner gasket then that

get the aircraft stuff at the parts store.

i got it in an aerosol can, I think it's more potent in the tin can, but it's bigger.

I know right.

I want to delete AC and ABS, but I think that's another project for another year. When this won't be my daily, and more of a weekend/track car.

Default Today's work

Update:1/10/10

Nothing significant, but it took alot of hours and it's the details

I reprimered the bay with filler primer



Got to painting the intake manifold and fuel rail




Not the final product.


Polished Fuel Injectors
Some sanding, used and abused, 400, 600, 1000 grits. 400 missing in pic


Polished with drill polishing bits, buffer and rouge




TB Plate







Painting the engine bay tomorrow. Finally.

Where did you get the sticker? On the intake, did you just drill and tap it? I am thinking about using the big block off cover for mine since I only hve two nipples to put back.

For the intake, yes just drill and tap the IM. I had the machine shop do it for me.

The sticker is from LTXTech.com. Just cut out the LTx.

Uuum well around here, the only place that carrys it is Sturdevants Auto Parts. I think its a little pricey paying $15 a can but it sure as hell works

damn, that;s expensive.

I paid like 10 bux at oreilly's

But later saw it at autozone for 8bux.

Finished with clear coat tonight. Gotta wetsand to bring some shine out. I don't have a buffer though. So, I don't know what I'll do.

Looking better everyday....but answer these questions?

1-why did you paint the fuel rails black?

2-wtf are there 3 vac. ports in the back of the intake for??

3-can we get a close up pic of where you deleted your fuel lines and made the block off plate?
