Operation Engine Bay of Pigs
keep up the great work! I am impressed...in the beginning it kind of looked sloppy, but it's coming along nicely. and that pic of all your spray cans together made me laugh, cause I own every single one of those cans. My basement has like 30 spray paint cans that I've collected over the years.
Update:1/10/10
Nothing significant, but it took alot of hours and it's the details
I reprimered the bay with filler primer

Got to painting the intake manifold and fuel rail

Not the final product.

Polished Fuel Injectors
Some sanding, used and abused, 400, 600, 1000 grits. 400 missing in pic

Polished with drill polishing bits, buffer and rouge

TB Plate

Painting the engine bay tomorrow. Finally.

I paid like 10 bux at oreilly's
But later saw it at autozone for 8bux.
Finished with clear coat tonight. Gotta wetsand to bring some shine out. I don't have a buffer though. So, I don't know what I'll do.
Looking better everyday....but answer these questions?
1-why did you paint the fuel rails black?
2-wtf are there 3 vac. ports in the back of the intake for??
3-can we get a close up pic of where you deleted your fuel lines and made the block off plate?
