my builder just looked at the headers that i ordered off of ebay and put a micrometer on them and they arent 1 3/4" primaries like the ad lists they are 1 5/8". i just emailed in for a refund and as soon as they say that they will ill be sending them back. im a little disappointed about this

Man, that sucks. I like SLP exhaust stuff because it is tuned. And the SLP's mid tubes come with dougnut gaskets that are more forgiving with engine twist/vibrations. Plus the SLP header install kit is a one time installation..

yea i bet they just shipped you the wrong ones. it sucks, see if they will take care of shipping the ones u got and reship you the right ones. give em a chance to make it right. it does suck though but **** happens when u order online.

Also, how much is that going to matter? Is it going to be an extreme setback, or hardly noticeable? My build isn't going to be extreme and for the price I got these at ($289 shipped with the Y-Pipe) it's hard to complain unless it's going to matter alot.

This is a common thing with ebay headers...some have such thin metal around the curvy area's that over a short amount of time they will crack...price doesn't neccisarly mean quality...usually what you pay for is what you get...when looking into headers you should look into specs very carefully as this would tell you what kind of metal and how thick the tubing is...also what inner diameter and outer diameter measurements are...just my .02

for the price I'd leave them too.

But OP wanted 1 3/4 so he needs to get what he wants.

At your power level I'd be sure to get what you wanted in the first place, 1 3/4. It does make a difference from the material I have read.

It's more the fact that I already have 1 3/4 headers. Also the headers are going a forged 383 with a big HR cam and a 200 shot of nitrous so I could use the larger primaries. And they are 1 5/8 outer diameter. I'll pm whoever wants the name of the seller in the morning

What kind of Pacesetter do you have, shortys? Just curious, cause my Pacesetter LTs are 1 3/4"...as far as I know, Pacesetter doesn't even make a 1 5/8" LT for LT1 f-bodies
