Default Got a new toy!!!

My friend wanted to trade his "extra" Z28 for my TT2's. There was no way I could pass up that deal.
It's a 1993 M6 Originally black, but 2 owners ago it had a really bad paint job(water in the compressor), but other wise is an ok car.
It seems to have a flowmaster catback, it sounds alot like long tubes, but still on stock manifolds.

The hood needs some scoops and paint.

The interior is missing a few bezels and things, and the radio was jacked. It's a no power options hardtop car.
It's nearly an 1LE except it has A/C.

A few easy dents.

I think that this is going to turn out to be a fun little winter time project.

Oh, and here's my friend's Z28 with the TT2's on, he needs a lil paint too.

Very awesome deal if you ask me! LOL I have played out salad shooters in my garage I'll trade you for it. Just kidding. Good looking project man. That should be a fun car. I just HATE the 93 speed density system.

heck yes! that's awesome! i'd put a set of 17" like ZR1s on that sucker, clean it up a bit, put a set of gears in it and have a solid play toy! i'd autoX, perhaps road course the **** outta that car! being a hardtop and a 93' car that's a great starting platform.

great deal man! i'm jealous!

Good trade for sure.

Is it just me or does it look like the German Shepards have a campfire going in that pic

I like salad shooters better than torque thrusts.

Actually they do! I had a huge pile of leaves in there and lit 'em up!

Funny thing is, my friend felt like I was getting the bad side of the deal.
He had to remachine the top end because the previous owner sprayed the hell out of it, and did an awful paint job. It seems he just got tired of dealing with it.
What he doesn't know is I got the whole set of TT2's with tires for the price of one wheel, hehehe. Let's keep that a secret, he lurks on here sometimes.

You know I think it already has 4.10's in it. The only thing I don't like about it(excepting the paint) is the ugly yellow gauges and controls, it drives me mad!
Because it's a M6 I think it's gonna be my new DD, and I can focus more on the vert's mods.

Yep, the EGR has been removed though.
I haven't really had the time to go through and check everything out thoroughly for problems or mods.
As far as I know the engine is all stock.
And I agree, changing a window motor is a pain in the ***, harder than dropping an engine.

Man, that sucks. Without the EGR the engine is probably toast then! Hopefully no signs of nitrous installation.

Removing EGR isn't going to toast it. Two owners ago it had nitrous and he blew the head gaskets, which is why the top end was redone and the heads machined. The trans is fine though. It's a great running car and honestly it sounds kind of lopey, it really confuses me seeing as how it has a bathtub muffler.
