Default build ideas

building up a lt1, id like to get 450 to the crank. whats the needs for it

very new to the lt1, and the site, so go easy on the newbie here

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Lloyed Elliot 2 heads, a matching cam, LT4 intake manifold, larger TB, long tubes, and a tune...?

the LE2 heads/cam will easily get you 450 at the crank with all of the supporting mods of course

450 at the crank can be had a few ways:
every bolt on and a big cam
or lightly ported heads/smaller cam and headers and exhaust.

How many miles are on your LT1? Wondering as far as if you need a fresh engine rebuild also.

But as stated before, full bolt-on's, ported stock heads, cam, ported intake manifold, etc. will get you to the power level you are wanting

could you specifiy the full bolt ons

this is going to be swaped to s10 with the t56 tranny. the motor has 90,xxx miles when it was ripped out


and s the elliot heads your talking about from elliot portworks?

The LT4 manifold was a VERY bad idea.

I have a ported lt1 intake and a cam that I went 11.53 @ 120mph with. U would just need heads. Cam is 224/230 .600/.600 108lsa. It's a LE cam
