I have a 160* t stat and fans come on at 175* and im in N.Y. Heat sucks. It blows luke warm if anything. My temp needle goes maybe 2 needle thicknesses above 160. Perfect for the summer. horrible for the winter

Thanks for starting this thread!! Mine doesn't blow very warm either and I had forgot all about it.

Off to unclog it now.

Mines fine after car warms up. I had to unplug my heater core previously.

It was definitely clogged up! Some weird looking stuff came out of it.

Seems to be a bit better now.

I havent had a chance to mess with it. It snowed here in PA and my princess doesnt like snow, or salt, or rain for that matter. She will probably be away for the winter now as there is a lot of salt down now. I hate winter!

By itself, the thermostat won't govern how hot your car runs - only how long it takes to warm up.
