That is the exact reason i went with magnaflow over flowmaster no raspy grossness lol except for that it quiets down my cam lol oh well thats why DMH is in buisness right

Well out of the several guys on here from past threads and that I know in my hometown, can tell you it is one of the more quiet catbacks. Flowmaster and GMMG are both louder then the Magnaflow. My buddy has the Flowmaster (which is a good deal louder) and the GMMG speaks for itself. Do a search through old post and you will find that a lot of guys say if you want a quieter catback then get a Magnaflow. And if you are implying in your last statement that you can't blame his catback for hindering some of the sound then you aren't up to par on some of this stuff

Maybe you guys have a new Magnaflow system, or something. If you're standing behind mine whlie it's idling, you have to talk LOUD to hear each other. And when I get on it, it's nothing short of obnoxious.
Sounds like we have different exhausts.

i agree my flowmaster is quiet. but i run open headers now after cam and goodies but i always thought flowmaster was alot more quiet then magna but its here nor there doesnt really matter.

I guess the newer Magnaflow sucks. Mine sounds great.
I ran the magnaflow at one point on my LE set up and it was the quietest catback/exhaust I have ever heard or ran. It really made the camshaft seem almost factory. Switching to TD's made the cam come alive. Black93...you are in need of some product knowlegde my friend.

flowmaster simply is NOT quieter than magnaflow i have heard both in person on a cam and my ta before my cam both stock cars flowmaster is alot louder all at any rpm

Everyone around here that has Magnaflow on their car is LOUD.

seriously you cannot campare the GM 847 to the CC503 and if for some odd reason if your magnaflow is louder which is not so likely id be checking to make sure its not leaking anywhere....

and also on the videos it kinda makes a difference on the placement of the camera where the speaker is picking up the noise so yeah
im on my work computer right now and it doesnt have speakers so i cant listen to it right this second

I'm not comparing ****. Just showing that MY Magnaflow isn't quiet. I posted a video of Stealth Formula's car, also, with the SAME EXACT CAM, and it sounds badass!
