my mods are

of course cc503
forged brand new 355

My cam sounds really quiet with my Hooker Aerochamber, but thats how I need it to be to avoid unwanted attention from the police (quite discreet for headers and ORY with 3" piping all over).

However, it also idles at 900rpm. On the stock tune it sounded great idling at 750RPM. What does your engine idle at?

Maybe ask your tuner to drop the idle a bit to get some lope out of it?

First off lets see a video

Secondly, it is probably because of you're Magnaflow Catback. If it had TD's it would sound a lot more radical but probably get annoying to you after a while. My suggestion would be to look into a DMH Electric Cut out. This will wake up that cam sound you are looking for and still retain a somewhat quiet sound while driving around town. Check my sound video with my AI cam, Magnaflow Catback and DMH cut out. World of sound difference.

Mine idles at 950-1000. Your Magnaflow is def hiding the sound of the cam.

ive got a LE 236/242 612/612 on 111lsa and it idles at 950-1000 warm and sounds really smooth that means the tune is good except my tune isnt done yet...so it could be tuned good which is what you want...big cammed sound doesnt always mean your going fast.....

My car was also tuned by Solomon. Guy goes beyond the word far to help you out and get it done right.

When I took my car to the muffler shop (needed the I pipe welded on), I was running open Y and no tune but so much fun with all the noise. I get my tune later before I pick up my car, so I load it up before I drive the car home, I crank it up and its almost dead quiet.

Maybe you should invest into a cutout bro.

I run a manaflow magnapack straight off the y-pipe with a turndown mine has a real nice lope. Maybe its the magnaflow catback I have seen a few catbacks kill the sound of a cam.

Stick in a cutout after the Y pipe and call it a day. Have quiet when you want quiet, loud when you want loud.

Driving a discreet car is fun. Someone will underestimate your car, and then you give them a good look of your tail lights.
