best cam choice
best cam choice ok so i am building my motor.. its stock shortblock with new bearings and arp rod bolts.. it will be getting 100 shot. its gonna have "stock" heads for now.. i ran the cc 306 in my last car and i looooovvvvveeeedddd it.. its a 6speed full bolt on car with 3"td's.. what would everyone recommend.
if u want an off shelf cam and good spray cam on stock heads id run a cc503. but the cc306 loves the juice as well, just depends how high u wanna spin the motor. so if u loooooooooved the 306 just go for it again. with a good tune, full bolt on, m6 car i dont think a 306 is bad. everyone says its too much but if u ran it before u know how it performs. i ran a 503 and a 306 in my a4 car with every single bolt on and full exhaust cam only i liked the cc503 better for driving. the 306 was a screamer up top though and pulled and pulled and wanted more rpm than the 6200-6300 i was giving it. but the 503 liked it.

im gonna spin it.. i did with my last one.. its not my "DD" so to speak.. i shifted my last one at 6500 on an otherwise stock internal. it did fine for the 10k miles i had the cam in before i sold the car. i figure i could hit 6800 or maybe even 7k with the arp bolts
