How many of you guys drive your fbody when its snowing out?

Some people will hate me for this but my car had never seen snow until I got it. It's a DD and with snow tires on it does better in the snow than any other car I've driven. Every time I see a stuck s2000 / bmw out there I have a good laugh. I have better grip than a lot of soccer moms driving SUVs on the way to work.
If your car is immaculate then yeah store it. If you have the minor crap that 10 years of fun will cause, like swirl marks and minor dents, I'd say slap some snow tires on and go crazy. If you're careful you can pull off driving it without damaging it. Just keep it washed (undercarriage too!) to keep the rust off and buff it out in the spring. She'll still shine and you won't have to deal with driving a POS for 4 months.

yup...i drove my bird on the driveway a few weeks ago to take pictures, had to take 3 running starts to get it back in the garage (uphill slant)
it was totally worthless and couldnt even make it down the street without sliding all over on my bald *** summer tires...
thats the only time my cars even really been in the snow...

I used to drive a 4th gen camaro in high school in winter and then i drove my T/A 2yrs through winter after graduating. I have a DD now this year. Im glad im not driving a f-body. it sucked. It was the worse vehicle to drive in winter. Somehow i got through 4 years of it

I backed mine out of the garage last winter just to wash it and had to get a running start just to get it back in the garage.
Besides that, the Trans Am sits because I want to keep her looking good and the 03 Eclipse gets winter beater status. It does OK for what it is

I been driving mine through the winter as my only car for the last 4 years, on my 5th winter now. The abs sure was a godsend those other years, along with a set of Blizzacks the first few years. Though money has been tight this year, and got laid off a few months ago I havent had to really drive it through the big stuff yet.. I dont think I would make it very far on bald tires at the moment. Snow tires make a world of difference traction wise, but I have another problem, my car is rusting to death. Both the rear flanks are rusting right on the wheel wells, and under where the subframe and well everywhere. Probably gonna cost to much now to replace all tha sheet metal, so in the market for a body, like a blown up v-6 car. My TA has been hit in the parking lot, by a lady to stupid to clean off her windows from frost, ran into my car blind. What a rough life it has led.

I used to drive my old F-bodies in the snow and it wasnt to bad, actually had to drive the WS6 in snow once or twice when my 300 dollar caviler broke down. Now the 95 Vette i had really ******* sucked, but was fun in the rain and dry weather.
Thank god for the Jeep this yr!

I used to drive mine in the snow back when I was 16 and got it, I thought it was a nightmare! Now it sits in the garage during the winter since I have my own house now. I feel it's a great time of year to work on her. It's a shame that my Dodge Rumble Bee has to be my DD and see the snow but hey what can you do right. Just put the pedal to the floor in the hemi and get all crazy in the snow, lol!

I daily drive my 98 LS1 M6 Car all year around. Unless we get alot of snow and I absolutly have to go somewhere(work), then I take out my extremly clean 84 Silverado 4x4. After EVERY snow storm, I wash the car top to bottom, no matter how cold it is outside. You woud NEVER know it has seen any snow or salt... These cars were meant to be driven. not garage queens that dont even know what the sun looks like. Just take it easy and dont drive like a dumb @ss and you will be fine.
