Its not.

There are tons of 10 second lt1s here, mostly nitrous fed but that still counts .

Hell, even a lot of the ricers run 12s.

well thats what i was thinking, A little spray on a stock LT1 will get you in the 12's. And seeing FL has no emissions there has to be some pretty quick LT's out there LOL

I saw a black turbo lt1 vette running consistant 9.6s like two years ago...

I'm sure the fastest is probably somewhere in the mid 9s. There are so many fast cars down here, and tons are from older guys with no internet presense whatsoever so its impossible to get a solid list going.
