ya, really. i suppose if there was more demand for them the production costs would come down a bit. there are few things in this world where i will refuse to do it myself and save some money. this is one of them. there are used ones that can be had on the cheap but you are still getting 15+ year old brittle harness.

The plastic gets brittle and maybe the wire connectors..other than that these harnesses are generally in very workable shape..it's not too difficult to re-work them either. It is time consuming..that is why it's $750.. I've made a couple and definately gotten my money.
