Default New set of LLP LT1 headers are almost done! Quick question

Does anyone know if the new set of LLP LT1 headers are having the same steering issues the last set had?.. They were working on making the new batch better. I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything yet?.. thanks guys...

Are the the best fitting headers so far for our cars? My lowered and how is the ground clearence? How is the install for them? I live in san jose, california so emmisions is really strict out here but i really want a set of long tube hearders so im either gonna have to take them on and off when it comes time to smog the car every two years or im going to have to find someone who will just pass it. Im in a debate if it will be worth the hassle to install and uninstall.

Ground clearance on them is quite good (I have a set of the first batch). They use slip-fit connections (opposed to 3-bolt flanges) which frees up a bit of clearance.

Carl who is the CEO has been awesome at responding super fast to my emails besides the last one... I was hopeing to speak to him personally about his headers. He must be busy building my set lol... I was just really interested in knowing if the new batch were going to need tweaking like the first set...

yaaaaaa..........My LPPs WERE very nice......My ground clearance sucks they drag on everything and i had to move my steering colum over to the left an inch just to barley clear my steering shaft.....and i blew 2 header gaskets in a week....other then that ...they look good.

Im about to order mine. Carl said made changes to some of the primary routing to allow for more clearance. Im not too sure what all the includes but any improvement is a good improvement. Hey RamAir.. how did yours fit.. Ive just heard of alot of people having steering shaft fitment probs.
