+1 get a roller...Ive seen a lot of V6 cars for less than a grand. T tops are always fun too...plus you can basically pick out a new color, for free like u said! haha

you should try to find a rare color, I do like the silver and purple colors, but how about that yellow they did in '93? Maybe yur not a fan but It's sumthin different.

merv, definitely go for the PURPLE.

My experience w/ the v6's is that they're all beat up.

But everyone finds good deals and nice cars but me.

yea, true a lot of people see the v6's as "just cars" and are many times not as meticulous, careful, and **** about caring for their car...

then again, many older people buy the v6's...and they tend to take better care of things lol

I'm sure you'll be able to find something

While true that the power windows are lighter, I have never been swearing at myself on a 70 degree day because my window won't go down. Everyone I have met with a LT1 car either currently has window issues, or has already replaced their window motors, and tell me what a joy it wasn't to do them.

You sure about that..I can see them weighing the same maybe, but not heavier. I've held them both in my hand.

The Manual ones are far more dependable though..my Driver's side is starting to wear out relaly bad, but it still works.

I just want to have a nice car..I was thinking about buying a C5 Z06..but I can't see spending $20k+ to have something that I can do by putting a little work into it..that and what I have now will cream a C5Z..

I would hate to scrap a F-body, but it's pretty rough and been through hell..it literally is starting to fall apart. I'll start over with a nice one and do everything really clean, and that's what will make it a nice ride.

Then I can put it into Car shows..have people look at it.. "Hey, look at that clean LT1 Car..wait, WTF.."

There are quite a few where I'm at..mine is pretty tore up compared to alot of them here.

I'm just trying to figure out what year would be best for emissions..93-95, or 96-97, then again at this point I guess it doesn't matter..

I wish I could find a clean V6 for that price in my area... I sold my old 95 V6 last year for $6700 and I could've really gotten more for it. Hell, I paid $8800 for my Z28.
