I don't know for sure. Just know there is a ground their. I thought the PCM grounded on the chassis by the power steering reservoir?

I always bolted the Battery to the Block..never had any problems with that, and mine was like that from the factory.

Yeah it seems like there is a convenient location on the block for those who do not use their rear AC bracket.

No..it was under the passengers side Motor Mount on one of the Block Bolts..
