You dont need to run cats on your car in Illinois. All they do is a PCM check for OBD2 cars. As long as you dont have SES codes you pass. So get rid of the cats

Its technically "illegal" but plenty of people do it.

and 1995 and lower cars are exempt so your good to go.

its a 97 so i still have testing and yea i was thinking of doing that but i didnt want it to be so loud i would wont them off then
