Best place IMO is where the spare tire and jack go. Out of the way and you can cover it up to hide from the Feds

I made this setup for $10 from some metal pieces from home depot.
bent the metal to appropriate angles, drilled and bolted the pieces together, bolted them to the car.
It is cheaper than any other mount you can buy and I believe it weighs less. hope this helps.

I was gonna put mine in the spare tire well, but after spending so much money on it I might as well show it off! So its going on the hump between the rear seat on a HSW mounting bracket.
I just got my stuff from Hsw last week. Too cold to start the install though. Trending Topics

I went with the 360 mount in the spare tire well. Unfortunately that is as far as I've installed mine. I want a wideband, a/f switch, and a remote bottle opener before I install everything. I'm going to stick my NANO in that valley in the back.
