Default Hooking up the T/A! Launch pics inside

Well I made it out to the track yesterday to try out my new Competition engineering shocks and anew pair of slicks. On the first pass the car left really hard and picked up the front tires about a foot off the track. But only managed a 1.500 60'. So I tightened up my front shocks 3 clicks and it left better with only about 6-8inches under the tires and a 1.48 60'. For some reason the car was running really rich, looked like a diesel with a chip smoking black and I plan on bringing it to the dyno to do some fine tuning. It still managed to run 10.93@126mph on the first pass and the second pass, 10.88@126MPH. I tired to go make another pass and when i let off the brake it snapped the driveshaft clean off. It was a stock LS1 shaft so it wasn't made for the power I was throwing at it for sure. Here is a launch pic from yesterday. later Clint

I am running LE3 heads and a solid roller cam from Lloyd.

Actually that Mustang in the other lane had a bigblock, big tires and beat me like I owed him money. He ran 10.40 to my 10.80 and he had a lightweight dragcar so I don't feel bad about that.

Hey I can't find my stock steel driveshaft. Would anybody have a stock steel driveshaft lying around to sell for cheap? I am going to have a custom shaft built but would like to have something to use for now. LMK Thanks Clint

I have one but it is out of balance & over 80mph you can feel it vibrate. If your local you can have it, but Im not gonna ship it, cost to much and you could prob find one local cheaper

I'd sell ya my 3" CM unit, but you have to lengthen it, for your setup. Just an option, if you cant find anything else.
