You need a crank hub puller.

i think he is referring to the bolt holding the crank hub to the crank snout. If i am right it looks like you have the engine pulled. You will have to find someway of keeping the flywheel/flexplate from rotating while you remove the crank hub. Then like others stated you will need a crank hub remover to remove the hub. GL OP

You can use a BF Crescent wrench to hold one of the three ears on the hub....

If it's an auto then you can try the methods listed. If it's a manual and your e-brake works, put the transmission in 5th gear and pull the e-brake.

The wood is not going to work. Try an impact or get a big *** wrench to hold the hub

I think I'm going to try my impact tomorrow, the wrench didn't work, I used a breaker bar and the whole motor and tranny lifted up and it just rotated over the wrench, so i guess impact is the way to go, I'll let you guys know tomorrow, Also just ordered headers and gm syncromesh for the tranny! I hope for some big gains with this setup! thanks for all the help you guys... any new idea are welcome!!!

How did the wrench not work...Just use a bf knuckle buster and use one hand on each wrench it should be easy the bolt should not be torqued high enough to be an issue.....
