Because they needed a bit more power to turn those big *** wheels lol

Back on topic.. OP, I would look into some ZO6 or early ZR1/SS wheels. Everyone and their mother seems to have them, but they seem to fit the cars nicely. This is if you want to keep it budget.. If not, there are always wheels out there like CCW's lol

TTII's are pretty nice on LT1 Camaro's. If you go to Wheel and tire section, you can check out many other cool wheels people put on f-body's.

due to the 4th gens backspacing, you can not run a deep dish wheel without it sticking out of the wheelwell...know wat im sayn?

my deep dish wheels fit fine. All you need is to buy the correct wheels. I like the Deep Dish look. To each thier own i guess..

c5,c6(c5,c6 zo6) rims are played out IMO I hate them

this is my car with zr1s and my buddys car with TT2s

and this is my car with 02LE wheels its not a pic but you get the point

If the car is not a DD and you have big plans for the car get some draglights or prostars.I think they look mean and they serve a purpose.

I hope this helps.

I prefer the ZO6's over chrome wheels on a black car.. Way too much chrome for a black car IMO. Gunmetal would look so much nicer. Plus, the OEM ZO6 wheels are pretty light. Rears were comparable to my rear draglites.
