Default Had a quick question..

i noticed that theres a crack in this hose thats connecting to my throttle body. you can see it here in the pic..



is this a big deal? what hose is that?

That is from the PCV on the valve cover. It's an engines bad habit lol. just replace it. If it is cracked it is a vac leak so don't let it go for long.

Yep - it's the fresh air supply hose for the PCV system. It will result in a vacuum leak.

A vacuum leak (if large enough) can cause a high idle, rough idle, hard starting, hesitation, misfiring, and a lean condition, by letting in unmetered air into the combustion process.
