What is the straw mod LOL? Also how do you go about doing this? Remove the freeze plugs and pour it in? Then do the machining and clearancing?

i guess you put a straw in the block where the knock sencer is,and the straw going up so there will be a path of coolent to the knock sencer. because mabe the knock sencer need water to work mabe. mabe some one will chime in and school us on a knock sencer.

The straw is used so there is a path for the coolant to be drained from the block.

You fill it with a funnel through one of the large coolant holes in the deck.
