i have a 1995 740i with 135k miles runs great i drive it everyday there is a guy that wants to trade me his 1997 trans am 6 speed bone stock besides sway bars and magnaflow cat back its white with black leather 116k miles

what do you think i should do?

First off i would see what your car books for and what his car books for and go from there. But i would definatly go with the TA if of course it is worth more then your 740i.

 

The 97 looks to be very clean from the pictures. It's leather with a 6 speed too, which would be great fun and comfortable on the street. I bet it gets better MPG than the Beemer, more HP and torque, and faster too. But then there's the whole back seat thing...

If it's "just a car" and you don't need the beemer for family purposes/business ect. I'd go with the bird cuz it's more fun!

 

that car looks like its if great shape. Ask him why he wants to get rid of it. If he can't give you a ligitimate reason then there is probly something wrong that hes trying to hide. But if it checks out HELL YEAH get it. The leather looks like its in great shape....and the CLUB FTW

was the t tops a option on the trans am's? and what about the ram air hood? i noticed in the pictures that it doesnt have t tops or the hood =[

 

To have the ram air hood, it had to have the WS6 option. WS6 cars had the ram air hood, performance suspension, and 17's(16's on convertible cars), and was available on both Formula's and Trans am's.

T-top's are an option on all firebirds, v6, formula, and trans am alike. The hardtops, like this one, aren't very common tho.
