Default Help Before I Buy Headers?

I posted a while back about the ebay headers and I'm ready to buy but I wanted a final look over by some of the experts here: I'm looking into several different Ebay header options, I see most people have gotten theirs from the eworldsales1 guy:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LT1-C...Q5fAccessories

I have also found these in the same price range:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1993-...Q5fAccessories

And these as a third option:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Camar...Q5fAccessories

I was leaning towards the second or the third choice over the eworldsales1 headers because it looks like the eworldsales1 headers come with AIR fittings and I plan on removing mine.

Also along with the actual headers I plan on getting the locking header bolts, is there a certain size or will any SBC set work? o2 Extensions, I will probably need two 12" extensions? Lastly do I need any kind of block off plates for the EGR or AIR systems aside from the two EGR plates on the back of the intake?

Thanks again everyone.

Dont get the Ebay headers, get LPP's! 475 for a set without AIR and EGR! Good quality and good price!

As for locking header bolts...

If you want a locking header bolt, I would suggest the Percy's Split Locks. I bought the Breslin bolts, which are now Percy's. If I had it do over, I might just get some stainless ARP's. People seem to have good luck with those. I've heard the Stage 8's are a huge PITA.

I just purchased the second one( I'm the one you just emailed thought egay). I've installed headers from that company on 6 LS1's without a single issue. I've heard of the problems with the LT1 version, flanges too think, steering shaft clearance,etc...

I've already had the flanges machined down nearly an 1/8th to ease the install. I've have a tubular k member so I'm hoping I won't have many other issues. I'll post my result when I'm done.
I did go with the percy's split lock bolt along with XXX carbon gaskets. The gaskets appear to need some work on opening up the ports, but I don't want to be doing them again. I currently have the stage 8 bolts and I agree that they do work well, they are a PITA to deal with.

Did you retorque the bolts after you heat cycled it a few times? I've seen stage 8 's cause a leak when they aren't re torqued.

I did retorque the stage 8's, but that is for ANY bolt. The percy's I did it multiple times to be sure...a week later I started hearing an exhaust leak...

The stage 8's I never got one. I only had to retorque them 2 times.

I've used nothing but 1" ARP stainless bolts on the 3 sets of headers I have owned and not one of them has ever backed out.
