Default Almost Time!!!

Got my LE2 heads in yesterday, just ordered my LPP Headers and Y-Pipe, just ordered my custom head gaskets from cometic (.026 thickness, 4.040 bore), ordered my SPEC Stage 4 Clutch, CSR Electric Water Pump, SLP Loudmouth I Resonator, Walbro 255 Fuel Pump, and LCA Relocation Brackets!

I pick up my Arizona Speed and Marine Cold Air Intake soon. Now all I have left is on Tuesday I will order my Comp Cams Custom Grind Cam, 58mm Throttle Body, and 3.90 Rear End Gears.

I also bought some brand new AC Delco O2 Sensors for the front and I am going to get a Wideband A/F Ratio Monitor as well as an LS1 Driveshaft, HID Headlights, and the Speedinc Fuel Line Relocation Kit.

It goes into the shop on the 1st and I will install everything, do the fuel line relocation, wiring harness relocation, port my inlet on my intake manifold for the 58mm TB, and I am going to do the fuel pump trap door mod!

Should be done by the 3rd or so, then its off to get the new exhaust installed on the car and then get it dyno tuned...I cant wait! Seems like time slowed down now that its getting close to showtime! lol

WOW lots of nice stuff. I got LE1 heads & cam in mine in early Nov. Now I'm wishing all the snow around here was gone so I could try it out. Hope everything goes smooth for you.

yeah its supposed to snow here soon too...my luck it will happen RIGHT AFTER I finish the install lmao...I would probably cry a little lmao, jk

Gregrob is going to help me out with alot of this. He has been my advisor for the last couple weeks lol.

no I wasn't trying to be a dick, I am sure things will go smoothly and hopefully you guys don't run into any problems. Good luck with the build, are you guys doing all the work with the engine in the car or are you dropping the k-member?

I know you wasnt being a dick man lol, it is funny to me now. I learned from it lmao.

We are going to do it with the engine in the car, but I am removing the oil pan to check up on the internals real fast, clean it out if needed, and replace the oil pan gasket because this one is slightly torn, and the Oil Level Sending Unit is broken so I am replacing that. So I am gonna pop it off the motor mounts and it will be slightly lifted up enough to get the oil pan off, but I wont be unhooking everything.

I am replacing the clutch and resurfacing the flywheel too so that stuff wont be attached and the top half of the engine will be goneso I COULD pull it out the top if I needed to but I dont think I am going to lol.

If it were me I would drop it out do the work and then reinstall, but that is just me. I was a little reluctant to drop the k-member the first time I did it but after I realized how easy it is to remove as opposed to trying to monkey around in that tight engine bay, just about anything more labor intensive than changing spark plugs that sucker comes out. I have access to a lift though so that is definately part of it.

lol, I wanted the Aluminum for the slightly less weight. I know its not gonna add a buttload of power or put alot more to the ground ot anything, but it is slightly lighter so I figured why not lol. I was told to go with the LS1's cause they are Aluminum and cheaper than going with an aftermarket.

Unless you forgot to mention them, your missing injectors and rockers, and pushrods.

My car already has Crane Cams Aluminum Gold Race 1.6 SA Roller Rockers, Trick Flow Chrome-Moly Pushrods, and 30# Ford SVO Fuel Injectors which run about 36# on GM fuel pressure.

i have a pst shaft in my car... I think they're pretty nice. i took it to inland empire driveline for a u joint change and those guys said "PST.... this is a piece of **** driveshaft" so who knows?

Ok, slight change of plans...I am going to switch to some Patriot Performance Extreme .660" Dual Spring Valve Springs, and a set of Comp Cams Ultra Pro Magnum NSA 1.6 Roller Rockers.

Scratch the Driveshaft, I will stay steel.

Anyone need some Crane Cams SA 1.6 RR's or Beehive .600 lift springs? lol
